FAQ
How far in advance should I make reservations?
We recommend making reservations as far in advance as possible. With only 26 seats
available each evening, we can be fully booked many months in advance,
particularly during the popular summer months.
Reservations open each year in early January, book early to avoid disappointment!
I have allergies and/or dietary restrictions, can you accommodate them?
The Table specializes in providing set menu meals where each table’s food is cooked, plated and served at the same time in our small kitchen. With this type of dining model, it is difficult to simultaneously prepare alternatives without compromising the safety and quality of those dishes.
While we sympathize with guests who have allergies, we are NOT able to safely accommodate allergies to dairy, lactose, all seafood, onions or garlic.
We are also NOT able to accommodate full vegetarian or vegan diets.
We encourage all guests with any kind of allergies or dietary concerns to contact The Table directly by phone or email to confirm whether their needs will be met.
All allergies and dietary restrictions must be indicated at the time of booking. Allergies or dietary restrictions provided on arrival can not be accommodated as we do not keep additional ingredients on hand.
Do you post the menu?
To uphold our commitment to using local foods, supporting sustainability and minimizing food waste, we create a new menu every week. Each of our menus is designed to showcase the freshest ingredients available from our food partners at the time it is created. As such, the menu is revealed only once you arrive for your experience.
Can I book The Table for a Private Event?
Absolutely! A minimum buyout of 24 guests applies. While we have lots of fun hosting private events, we do not offer custom menu events throughout our summer season. We recommend contacting us early to book a private event as our reservation books fill up quickly!
Do you have a wine list?
We do! Like our food menus, we are very proud that our beverage menu features only wines, beers & spirits grown and produced in Canada. We take great pride in showcasing the hard-working wine makers, brewers, and distillers of Canada. Our highly trained team is happy to help you find a beverage that you’re sure to enjoy!
Do you offer wine pairings?
We do! We curate a flight of our favourite Canadian wines that pairs perfectly with each week’s menu. Our team takes great pride in celebrating these wines and explaining the stories behind them throughout the evening.
Can I bring my own wine?
You most certainly can! Do you have a special bottle of wine you’ve been holding on to for a special occasion? Do you have a specific wine you enjoy drinking with fine food? Bring it with you! Our liquor license allows our guests to bring their own (commercially produced) wine to enjoy with their meal. Our corkage fee is $40 per bottle.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Android Pay and Debit.
When should I arrive?
We open our doors at 5:15pm, and dinner begins promptly at 5:30pm.
When does the evening end?
Each experience is about 3 to 3.5 hours long, wrapping up by 9:00 or 9:15pm at the latest.
Is The Table appropriate for children?
We do not recommend our experiences for children younger than 14 years of age. The Table is a fine dining venue that specializes in 7 course meals served over the course of 3 to 4 hours. It is difficult for children to sit through these long experiences or to enjoy the dishes served due to the large amount and adventurous style of food served.
What should I wear?
We don’t stand on ceremony at The Table. Are you dining with us for a special occasion or a date night? Break out that fancy outfit you’ve been saving! Coming for a meal with old friends? Jeans are cool too! Wear whatever makes you happy!
Is parking available?
There is ample free parking available on the green space beside or in front of the building on either side of the driveway, and along Graham’s Rd in front of the church. We do ask that you not park in front of our neighbours homes or in the fire lane beside the church for safety reasons.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 72 hours notice prior to the date/time of reservation to make modifications to or cancel a reservation.
When you make reservations, either online or by phone, you will be prompted to provide full payment for the meal portion of your dining experience at the time of booking (beverages will be available during your meal at additional cost).
Now of course, we get it, things happen, plans change. Not to worry – cancellations made at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to a reservation will receive a full refund. If you would like to adjust/decrease the number of guests in your reservation, it is important to do this more than 3 days in advance as well. It is only cancellations or changes made to reservations less than 3 days prior that will not receive a refund.
Guests should contact The Table by phone or email to cancel or modify their reservation.
