A Taste of the Island

 Each night The Table offers intimate Island dining experiences.  All of our meals feature fresh, seasonal and local ingredients prepared by our in-house Executive Chef and are served family-style on platters at our large harvest table.  

This is Island dining at it’s best, providing you with the opportunity to interact with the Chef as he prepares the meal and learn about the fresh local foods that are being served and Island culture.  Around the table, you can share stories and meet new friends while enjoying a freshly prepared three course meal.  

This is an Island experience that you won’t soon forget!

Island Dinner Party
 Tuesday nights (June 16 to September 29)

You are invited to an intimate Island Dinner Party!  Enjoy live Island music during a social hour then gather around the kitchen to watch the Chef prepare your meal, exploring the flavours of each season with culinary dishes that highlight the sweet light flavours of Spring with chicken and lamb, the savoury colorful crops of Summer with chicken and beef, and the warm calming notes of Fall harvest with pork and chicken.

Traditional Island Feast
Wednesday nights (May 20 to Oct. 7),

Enjoy a feast of Prince Edward Island’s finest seafood in a true expression of Island flavours and culture.  Get to know your tablemates while delighting in a selection of local charcuterie and fresh oysters on the half shell, and learn about lobster fishing and oyster farming.  Then savour a feast of traditional Island fare with platters of lobster, mussels, quahogs, pork sausages, fresh picked vegetables and famous PEI potatoes - a feast for the eyes and the palate!

Fisherman's Catch
Thursday nights (May 21 to October 1)

A bountiful feast of Prince Edward Island’s freshest catch!  Join us for a celebration of your favourite seafoods, fished locally from the ocean waters, rivers and bays of PEI and perfectly prepared for your indulgence.  Enjoy fresh oysters on the half shell and a selection of Island cheeses before sitting down to a scallop ceviche starter.  Then share stories of the day over a sumptuous feast of lobster mussels, clams and seasonal fish paired with the Island’s wild rice, a decadent barley risotto and platters of beautiful farm fresh vegetables, ending with a beautiful seasonal dessert.

Lobster, Tales and Tunes

An Evening with Island Musician Michael Pendergast
 Friday nights (July 3 to August 28)

A good old-fashioned Prince Edward Island party!  Make yourselves at home with Michael Pendergast, an iconic Island entertainer who blends the traditional sounds and stories of PEI with contemporary songs and themes.  With a wink and a nod to the Island tradition of hospitality and warmth, Michael will create a unique and memorable East Coast musical experience as you enjoy a four-course meal with platters of PEI’s famous lobster, beef and organic local vegetables.  

Tap your toes and sing along as you create memories to last a long, long time!

North Shore Surf & Turf
 Saturday nights (June 13 to October 3)

A traditional favourite with a North Shore twist!  Start the evening with charcuterie and fresh oysters in the garden.  Enjoy the rural vista while speaking with the Chef as he prepares a Surf and Turf feast for you using elements of fire and smoke at our outdoor cookhouse.  Have your cameras ready to capture each moment as the Island beef is flame-grilled and local lobster is cooked over the fire.  Then gather inside around the harvest table to enjoy this mouth-watering Surf and Turf feast accompanied by steamed mussels, quahogs, fresh picked vegetables and house-made breads, and watch as the Chef prepares your sumptuous dessert.  Experience the bounty of the North Shore!

In the event of inclement or unseasonably cool weather this dinner will be hosted entirely indoors.

Cancellations

The Table’s evening dining experiences are unique and intimate, offering seating for only 20 guests each night.  Advance reservations are required because each meal is prepared exclusively for our booked guests.  We understand that it is sometimes necessary for guests to cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances.  Cancellations made well in advance can often be filled by our waitlist however cancellations made with no or short notice (less than 48 hours before a dinner) can leave empty spaces at the table which detract from the experience of other guests and compromise our viability as a very small business.  Please, if a cancellation is required, give us as much advance notice as possible.
